Part 2: IMPROVISATION – DOMDOM AND FRIENDS

The fireflies of the DomDom – The Hub For Experimental Music & Arts, although small, are always vibrant, energetic, and flexible. They are ready to spread their wings to fly far away, this time to Dalat in the misty night of April 3rd at Studio Ben Doi, 10 Ly Tu Trong, Ward 2, in the city center. Under the guidance of interdisciplinary artist-musician Tran Kim Ngoc, young artists and musicians from Domdom are gradually shining in the context of contemporary music and art in Vietnam. By exploring their own inner worlds and answering their own questions about their own concerns, through serious and professional study of experimental music in Vietnam and around the world, they have found independent ways of expression, each owning their own unique characteristics, personalities and voices. Each person has their own strengths, talents, and connects in an artistic atmosphere that has a strong local flavor. Write your own story with new and unique sounds, Ha Thuy Hang, Hoai Anh, Tuan Ni, Nguyen Quoc Hoang Anh, gradually making their names in the context of contemporary experimental art in Vietnam, through outstanding works, impressive and meaningful music projects in various music spaces across the country (L’Espace, Goethe Institut, Manzi, Á Space, Heritage Space, MoT, GraHub, Soma…). Don’t miss the chance to meet and enjoy the very special music brought by the fireflies and “Big Sister” Kim Ngoc during the “Nổ Cái Bùm” Arts Week. ” Nổ Cái Đom Đóm” will surely be a memorable event.
