Nguyen Xuan Son will introduce the compositions and contemporary plays that he wrote using materials from traditional music. In additions, he will be sharing his viewpoint on the disrupted development of traditional music in the context of globalization in Vietnam.

About musician Nguyen Xuan Son: Nguyen Xuan Son studied traditional music and percussion from a very early age under the guidance of the last masters of Vietnam’s traditional arts (Bui Trong Dang, Nguyen Dac Han, Do Tung). He graduated from the University of Theatre & Film in 1990.
